NSCAA Top 30 Under 30

I certainly feel very fortunate to be a recipient of the NSCAA 30 Under 30 Award in 2013/4 (the Inaugural Year for the award). You can meet the rest of the recipients: Top 15 Male and Female by clicking HERE

Many have asked about my experience in the program especially considering the fact that 2014/5 applications are now open. I would certainly say first off the ability to develop a strong relationship with my mentor George Crampton (Head Coach at Desales University) has been a wonderful experience as it is not always easy to find mentors who really help you out in the different experiences you go through as a coach and offer advice from their own experiences or act as a sounding board.

I’ve enjoyed the Google Hangout we were asked to participate in with other like candidates from the 30 Under 30. It’s been very rewarding to connect with other young coaches, see old friends (one in particular whom I’ve done most of my coaching courses with) and build new friendships!

On the whole, any young aspiring coach would definitely be making a good decision to apply for the program.

It goes without saying we are certainly a product of our experiences and I certainly have to thank those who have been apart of my growth and development as a coach as well as their support!
